Hello, I’m Michelle!

I’m a photo editor, producer, and photographer for both editorial content and brands. I’m currently the photo editor at AFAR magazine, and I’ve held senior visual editor positions at Saveur magazine and Bon Appétit. I’ve photographed, reported and produced stories from Ethiopia to Bolivia, up to the Arctic Circle and down to Tasmania. I’ve written for Vice, reported for Punch, curated museum and gallery exhibits, and judged multiple photography award shows. I’m also on the advisory board of Lens on Life, a non-profit photography organization with on-going schools in the Za’atari refugee camp and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
